The Hilton Honors Surpass card’s sign-up bonus is once again at 100,000 points after $3,000 spent in 3 months. You know what that means? More opportunities to stay at super fancy hotels! Hilton has a vast portfolio of awesome hotels worldwide. Lucky for you, you don’t have to look through all of them because I’ve done the work for you. Here are five fancy ideas on where to spend your free Hilton Honors Surpass nights:
1 – Conrad Koh Samui
The Conrad Koh Samui offers probably the best standard rooms on points in the Hilton portfolio. And possibly across all hotel chains. Free nights are pricey at 95,000 points per night, but considering rooms easily go for $1,000 per night during peak travel dates, that’s quite a bargain.
Besides, Hilton is the best hotel program for earning free nights, so you can replenish your balance a lot easier than with any other hotel rewards program. So what do you get for that many points? An amazing freestanding villa with ocean views and (as the title suggests) a 32-foot infinity pool!
2 – Conrad Maldives
The Park Hyatt gets all the glory, but if you find yourself in the Maldives you may want to give the Conrad a try. A free night gets you into a 1,600 sqft beach villa with open air-bathroom featuring a “bathing pavilion” and within walking distance of the beach. What’s great about the Hilton Surpass card is that you’ll not only have enough points for a free night, you’ll also get Gold status. At this resort, that entitles you to a free bottle of wine, chocolate & fruit welcome amenities, and a daily happy hour. The benefit is the same for Diamond members.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer complimentary elite upgrades, but the standard rooms are pretty nice!
3 – Hilton Paris
The Hilton Paris (not to be confused with Paris Hilton) is lovely. My younger sister recently did the hostel/train-around-Europe trip and ended up in a bed-bug infested hotel in Paris. Unable to cope with the circumstances on a 4-night stay, she called my parents asking for help. I booked her the Hilton Paris Opera, which she was over-the-moon about.
This hotel opened fairly recently and is absolutely stunning. She called my mom saying “I’m not leaving this hotel!” I asked how the room was and her response? “I haven’t been up yet. This lobby is amazing!” The room itself was lovely – if you’re sick of the outdated Renaissance look in Paris hotel rooms, you’ll love the modern/chic vibe of the Hilton Paris.
Not only are the rooms comfortable and tastefully designed, but there are luxurious little perks like heated bathroom floors and rain showers. At 80,000 points per night, this hotel can be a great value during peak travel dates.
4 – Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa
The Seychelles are a series of long flights away – which makes them perfect for points travelers! Not only can you really stretch those Alaska miles for an amazing in-flight experience, but when you arrive you’re essentially in paradise. For 95,000 points per night, you get a 969 sqft King Hillside Villa with a balcony and whirlpool tub from which to enjoy the incredible ocean views.
5 – Grand Wailea
While the Grand Wailea may not be the fanciest hotel on this list, it is the one most readers are likely to visit. After all, Hawaii is usually the first stop for most people who get into this hobby, and it can get expensive! The Grand Wailea resort has been renovated recently, so for 95,000 points per night you get a nice modern room with views of Mount Haleakala. It’s not how I’d spend 95,000 points per night but I know not everyone wants to fly 10,000+ miles to a remote destination to enjoy the beach. This is perfect for those people!
