Rockies’ Carlos Gonzáles, already a real estate mogul, buys new mansion in Lake Nona

What sportsmen and women like Henrik StensonIan PoulterAnnika Sörenstam, Yani Tseng and Victor Martínez have in common? All of them own real estate in Lake Nona, enjoying the green, comfort and services that the community offers. The list grew in 2018, with the addition of Carlos Gonzáles, outfielder of the Colorado Rockies.

Gonzáles’ house, built in 2016, has 12,500-square-foot, five bedrooms and ten baths, being located next to Lake Nona Golf & Country Club. The purchase was reported on Realtor.com, a website specializing in real estate.

The modern design of the property was one of the appeals for the player. The floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors in most of the rooms create an indoor-outdoor party space.

The central courtyard, large sitting area, two bedrooms, gallery hallway, and an entertainment area complement the house, which also features finely equipped kitchen, infinity pool, sun shelf, floating spa, and two outdoor grills.

The 33-year-old right fielder is a fixture in the Colorado outfield, now in his 10th season manning Coors Field. He’s won three Gold Glove awards and, with 231 career home runs, remains a force in the Rockies’ lineup.
