Delant Construction is leading the project. TownePlace Suites by Marriott offers one- and two-bedroom suites with fully-equipped kitchens, according to its website.
The hotel is near the recently-built West Kendall Baptist Hospital.
The West Kendall suburban area is seeing additional development.
Nearby, CVS Pharmacy bought an office building for $7.5 million with plans to build a new store and a BB&T Bank.
