Beginning in second-quarter 2019, Bank of America will have a new headquarters in Orlando. The new address has already been confirmed: 300, South Orange. At the same location they already operate with the president of Bank of America, Steven Alch, and Merrill Lynch, the bank’s wealth management division.
Spokesman Matthew Daily told the Orlando Business Journal that “we feel like having folks together in one place… helps our customers more. We’re proud to be able to continue to be a strong community partner in the Orlando market and downtown.”
With the move, Bank of America will be located in a more prestigious address within the central business district. According to story from the Orlando Business Journal, the central business district is the biggest office submarket in Central Florida, with a 6.7 percent vacancy rate compared with Orlando’s average of 8.6 percent.
