USTA National Campus Junior Summer Camp – 2018

Summer camp at the USTA National Campus kicked off the week of June 4 and concludes on August 10, 2018. There are 9 weekly sessions to choose from. The camp provides options for all ages and abilities.

Campers will hone their games and their strokes, have fun and learn skills that help them enjoy the sport for a lifetime. The program features professional coaching and training combined with the perfect blend of competition, friendship, and fun!

In addition to morning on-court tennis training and afternoon match-play opportunities, the expert coaching staff will help guide players in developing comprehensive and individualized training plans. They will also offer personal guidance on tournament play and competitive scheduling.

 

CAMP DATES 

June 4th– August 10th

Full Day of Summer Camp

Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 2:30pm– Includes lunch for each camper!

Friday: 8:30am – 11:30am

 

Red & Orange Ball:    $310.00 per week

Youth Development: $310.00 per week

High Performance:     $375.00 per week

All pricing listed for Full Day Summer Camp includes lunch for each camper Monday – Thursday

 

*NEW* for 2018! – Extended Camp:  $50.00 per week

The Extended Camp is for FULL DAY CAMPERS and available each day from 2:30pm-4: 00 pm (Monday-Thursday. No extended camp on Friday).

Extended campers will be supervised by camp coaches and participate in reading and quiet activities.

 

Morning Summer Camp

Monday-Friday: 8:30am-11:30am

 

Red & Orange Ball:     $175.00 per week

Youth Development:  $175.00 per week

High Performance:     $225.00 per week

Morning Summer Camp ends at 11:30 am and does not include lunch 

 

Red & Orange Ball (Ages 5-10): 

Held on smaller courts for ages 5-10. Must be entering Kindergarten in Fall 2018. Furthermore, the summer camp staff will ensure that all campers learn how to play the game of tennis and learn the required tennis and athletic skills to enjoy tennis for a lifetime. In conclusion, we offer professional coaching and training combined with the perfect blend of competition, friendship, and fun!

Youth Development (Ages 11-17): 

This program is geared for players ages 11-17 that are new to the game, experienced Junior Team Tennis/High School Team Players or are currently enrolled in the Campus Youth/Campus Youth Plus programs. Also, players will train with others who are similar in age and ability. Mornings will focus on drill-based coaching, while afternoons will be centered around match play giving campers opportunities to practice their game under the guidance of coaches.

High Performance (Ages 10-18): 

This program is designed for committed tournament players, ages 10-18, who are on a high-performance training pathway and competing in state, sectional, and/or national USTA tournaments. Players will train with others who are similar in age and ability. Morning training will focus on technique, shot selection, patterns of play and skills to deal with pressure. Afternoons will consist of match play opportunities with our expert coaches who will also guide players in developing comprehensive and individualized training plans. They will also offer personal guidance on tournament play, competitive scheduling, and advice on nutrition and hydration. In addition, the program includes fitness sessions to improve speed, flexibility, agility, and core strength.
