MOBI, a leader in artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to urban mobility, has created the Intelligent Mobility Center (IMC), an interactive environment that provides advanced insights into mobility and allows practitioners and policymakers to learn how these technologies can be applied to improve urban traffic management. The IMC is a venue for research and use of artificial intelligence and machine learning applications together with the University of Central Florida (UCF) and other partner universities. The IMC will also be a focal point for an online network that will enable knowledge transfer through various channels. The IMC will be established in Lake Nona, a mobility innovation center that already has the largest fleet of autonomous vehicles in operation in the country. In addition, IMC will offer interactive online training and enable professionals to understand the use of vehicle data and other big data sources. MOBI offers a complete software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that addresses the problem of traffic congestion, covering the entire operational cycle from data fusion to traffic plan automation, allowing decision makers to identify bottlenecks, disperse traffic build-up and anticipate traffic jams. New center will change the way artificial intelligence is applied to urban mobility
