Pub planned for Disney

Pub planned for Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A pub will be part of the re-imagined Grand Avenue area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, according to the Disney Parks Blog.

The Grand Avenue section will be reworked to feel more like Downtown Los Angeles with vintage office buildings and warehouses representing the different district and culture of this city.

Baseline Tap House will showcase California wines, brews and ciders. Wines on tap and cocktails will be available along with a menu that includes Bavarian pretzels with mustard and beer-cheese fondue, spiced almonds and a charcuterie board full of California cheeses.

Nonalcoholic offerings include a gourmet lemonade and soda on tap.

An opening date has not been set, but the pub is expected to open daily at 11 a.m.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios, along with a number of other Disney parks, are seeing a shake-up in rides and other attractions.

In the works for Hollywood Studios is a ride inspired by Mickey Mouse shorts (Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway) replacing the Great Movie Ride, a Toy Story Land expected in summer 2018, and a Star Wars land (Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge) expected in 2019.
