Colombian coffee shop opens in Orlando in June next year

Orlando residents will be able to enjoy one more coffee shop option in 2019. Bakery & Coffee Makers, with a menu of Colombian coffee, baked goods, hot chocolate and fruit smoothies, is the new tenant on the ground floor of 20 N. Orange Ave.

The new cafe will occupy an area of 1,800-square-foot, as shown in an article in the Orlando Business Journal. The address is in downtown Orlando and there are other businesses already established in the same building, such as Pokéworks, CenterState Bank and CI Group Inc.

A deal for a tenant not in the food and drink business is expected to be wrapped up in January for the ground floor’s final 3,100-square-foot space. All renovations are planned to wrap up in March and the retail tenants should open by June 2019.

“We have a nice balance now,” said Cindy Schooler, senior vice president and market leader, to OBJ. With SRS Real Estate Partners, she is handling the building’s retail leasing.
