Sunbridge project is Tavistock’s next venture of first-class communities in Florida

Lake Nona developer Tavistock Development Co. LLC may start construction of the group’s new venture located in Sunbridge, between Orange and Osceola counties, in Florida, starting February 2019.

The area whose work is to begin corresponds to 19,560 acres, within a total area of 24,000 acres. Tavistock is seeking approvals from the Osceola County development review committee.

Requests contained in the updated development plan are for:

3,198 single-family homes

1,434 apartments

2.5 million square feet of office space

180,430 square feet of civic space

450 hotel rooms

Two schools

Sunbridge is one of the largest development areas in Central Florida. Developers need to build medical, educational, industrial and office buildings to attract new residents. “Whatever employment you can generate then feeds absorption of the housing projects,” said local land specialist Trevor Hall Jr. in an article in the Orlando Business Journal that addressed the Tavistock project.
