Lake Nona: a community of success!

Lake Nona. A community that greatly evolved during the past years now compiles 22 neighborhoods. These neighborhoods range from rustic lakeside cabins to luxurious townhomes and grand estate homes.

The Lake Nona Golf & Country Club was built in 1986, and once hosted the Tavistock Cup. A series of new neighborhoods cropped up, most designed to be modern and walkable. That list continues to grow, as does development in general. Lake Nona is evolving steadily.

Lake Nona will create up to 30,000 new jobs in the area and add billions to the Florida economy.

Also, Lake Nona is 10 minutes from the airport. Does it get any better than that? For professionals who frequently travel for business, the community offers airport convenience even during peak commute times.

There are 44 miles of bike trails in Lake Nona, so you might even consider a two-wheeled commute. Otherwise, Lynx bus service is an option.

Golf, tennis, cycling and more await the active Lake Nona resident. Lovely, local Crescent Park hosts events such as live music and group yoga and is something of a focal point in the community. And also, Walt Disney World is less than a half-hour’s drive as well.

Orlando may not have its own ocean, but it’s not far. You can get to Cocoa Beach in less than an hour and be back in time for tapas and craft cocktails at one of the area’s growing roster of upscale eateries.

Aside from the higher education benefits of the UCF Health Science Campus and the University of Florida Research Center, its public schools are well regarded. In fact, Lake Nona High’s Collegiate Program allows students to take college-level classes that will count toward their undergraduate degrees once they’re out of high school.
