Fattmerchant, an Orlando-based fintech that has developed an integrated bill payment platform, is expanding its staff, hiring new employees and taking up new floors in its headquarters building.
The firm has taken up the sixth floor at the Metcalf building at 100 S. Orange Avenue. It is the third floor the company occupies in the building, reaching a total of 10,000 square feet of workspace.
Suneera Madhani, founder and CEO, commented on the company’s growth and hiring in an article in the Orlando Business Journal. “This move represents the exciting past year Fattmerchant has had in terms of growth on all levels. We doubled our full-time employees this year, but we wish we could have done it faster. Orlando has a ton of talent, but it is difficult finding it,” Madhani said.
At the time, Fattmerchant has 15 job openings posted on its website, needing a vice president of finance, vice president for payment operations, software engineer, mobile developers, director of business development and more — all jobs that could be considered high-wage. Who is ready to work?
